Allison Sauerwein, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Health at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Her research focuses on teaching and learning in higher education, in order to improve preservice education in augmentative and alternative communication for speech-language pathologists.
