Biography

Jolene Kittle is the Nurse Scientist for Upstate. She has served in this role since September of 2022. She has worked for Upstate for 19 years in various areas including 5a, ED, SICU, Adult SWAT, and most recently as the Trauma Program Manager. She was also a flight nurse for 5 years. Jolene earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from SU in 2004, her Master of Science as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from Upstate Medical University in 2014 and her PhD in Nursing from Binghamton University in 2021.
