Koushik Banerjee

I did my doctoral research from University of Iowa with Dr. G. K. Friestad working on Total Synthesis of Tubulysins and asymmetric synthesis of amino acid esters using radical reaction. I then accepted position of assistant professor of chemistry at Georgia College and State University. My teaching interest involves primarily organic chemistry but I enjoy teaching general and survey courses too. My research interest is primarily centered around development of green organic synthetic methodologies (aka greener reactions). We also isolate natural products, perform computational studies, and synthesize pharmaceutically relevant small molecules.
