Clinkinbeard, S. S. - I am currently conducting in-depth qualitative interviews with women who are currently (or have been previously) in policing. I have completed approximately 45 in-depth interviews and am currently conducting preliminary analysis. Follow-up interviews and targeted recruitment is ongoing. Analysis is ongoing and is expected to lead to several papers on the culture of masculinity in policing, recruitment and retention, police identity, and avenues for reform.
