A movie that turned into a movement
In 2007, Careismatic Brands produced the A Nurse I Am documentary, directed by award-winning filmmaker David Hoffman, chronicling the personal and professional lives of three nurses working in very different care environments.
That same year, we established the A Nurse I Am Scholarship as a way of supporting students as they start their journeys.
Nursing has evolved over the past 16 years, and so has A Nurse I Am. To date, it’s awarded over $200,000 in scholarship funds, and helped launch the careers of over 100 healthcare professionals.
