**Who We Are** The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation was established in 1986, and since then we’ve worked to address the social drivers that negatively impact the health of Minnesotans. Across Minnesota, unfair barriers keep many people from achieving their best health. We partner with community organizations to improve health, with an intentional focus on addressing the root issues of health inequities. Communities across Minnesota inform our mission and grantmaking. Our grantees are our partners, and we incorporate their insights into every aspect of our work.
