**About Us** Our vision is a sustainable [cattle industry](https://www.cattlemen.bc.ca/about/industry.htm) that serves and enhances the vibrancy of our communities. **Who we are** The **BC Cattlemen’s Association (BCCA)** is the official voice of cattle ranchers throughout the province. Since 1929, the BCCA has served beef producers and currently works on behalf of over 70% of BC’s cattle herd. The BCCA is a grassroots organization made of up eight zones that encompass [14 regional and 30+ local associations](https://www.cattlemen.bc.ca/contact/regionals-locals.htm), each of which is a registered society with its own bylaws. Members become part of the BCCA by [joining](https://www.cattlemen.bc.ca/join-us/membership.htm) a regional or local association in their area.
