About Us Welcome to SUNY Buffalo State’s Center for Global Engagement (CGE). CGE is home to the Office of International Student and Scholar Services, Office of Study Away and International Education, and Intensive English Language Institute. Our Mission The mission of the SUNY Buffalo State Center for Global Engagement is to provide leadership for the comprehensive internationalization of the SUNY Buffalo State community by fostering the growth and development of our international programs and services. The pandemic and the response to systemic racial injustice requires that global pedagogy enter a new era of cultural humility and social responsibility. At Buffalo State we are on the forefront of applying a social justice perspective to support and cultivate global citizenship.
