**Our Mission** The Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy (CDP) advances U.S. leadership abroad in critical and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), autonomy, quantum, biotechnology, telecommunications, next generation communications, related critical infrastructure, and export diplomacy related to these topics. The bureau expands the reach of the U.S. tech sector and partners with U.S. allies to secure the digital backbone of the global economy and the U.S. alliance network and drive innovation and economic growth on behalf of the American people. CDP leads the U.S. government’s international efforts to shape technology policy, regulation, and standards so that the digital future advances American interests, strengthens U.S. national security, and supports human flourishing.
