OUR MISSION The Bureau of Global Talent Management strives to recruit, retain, and sustain a diverse, talented, and inclusive workforce that is fully prepared to advance U.S. national security interests and American values in every corner of the world. Our teams include Foreign Service (FS), Civil Service (CS), and Locally Employed Staff (LE) who contribute their passion and skills to finding solutions to America’s greatest foreign policy challenges. Under the leadership of the Director General of the Foreign Service and Director of Global Talent, the Bureau of Global Talent Management steers the recruitment, assignment, and career development processes to build an engaged workforce that delivers results and services to the American people it is privileged to serve.
