Welcome to the Department of Art and Design Welcome to the Department of Art and Design at the University of West Florida. For more than fifty years, we have fostered independent and critical thinking in our students through the production and study of the visual arts. The department offers two Baccalaureate programs: a Bachelor Degree (B.A.) in Art Studio which allows students to concentrate in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, Ceramics, and Art History; and a Bachelor of Fine Art (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design, Digital Art, and Studio Art (Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography).
