Our Mission
Connecticut Sea Grant will work towards achieving healthy coastal and marine ecosystems and consequent public benefits by supporting integrated locally and nationally relevant research, outreach and education programs in partnership with stakeholders.
What is Sea Grant?
Sea Grant is a national network comprised of 34 university-based and consortium programs and The Sea Grant Collection housed at the NOAA Central Library. Sea Grant programs are based mainly at flagship universities in U.S. coastal and Great Lake states and territories. The National Sea Grant College Program encourages the wise stewardship of our marine resources through research, education, outreach and technology transfer.
