The Dr. N. Joyce Payne Research Center conducts evidence-based research and develops innovative programs to address critical societal challenges. Focusing on areas such as economic security, education, health, policy, and social well-being, the Payne Center emphasizes the contributions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in driving sustainable, impactful solutions. The Payne Center generates actionable insights to inform policy and practice, improving outcomes for individuals facing systemic barriers.
