About Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher Charitable Foundation started in 2004 with the vision of listening to and empowering the next generation of Indigenous youth. In order to do this our mission was clear: “we hear you”. From ”HEAR” our mandates were born:
1) H -health, 2) E – education, 3) A – arts & culture, and 4) R – recreation & sports. Today, through the contributions and shared vision of our Dreamcatcher supporters and partners, we are empowered to increase our positive impact on more youth and Indigenous communities across Ontario.
OUR VISION
We are a nationally recognized philanthropic organization committed to building healthy and vibrant Indigenous communities by developing our youth as future community leaders.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide funding for: health, education, arts & culture, and recreation & sports for Indigenous youth. We are also supplying temporary clean drinking water solutions for Indigenous communities.
OUR FOCUS
By focusing on families and their children, we provide access to programs they may otherwise not be able to afford. These programs develop our youth into healthy thinkers, creators, and leaders to build a brighter future.
