Description
Our Vision EDUCAUSE is inspiring the transformation of higher education in service to a greater good. Our Mission Our mission is to lead the way, advancing the strategic use of technology and data to further the promise of higher education. We connect and empower our member community through insights, advocacy, resources, and learning opportunities to anticipate trends and strengthen professional practice. Who We Are EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association and a community of higher education professionals and industry colleagues more than 100,000 strong—working together for the greater good in higher education. As a community, we tackle a broad spectrum of challenges related to the adoption and application of technology in higher education. From enterprise systems to strategic leadership, pedagogical innovation to cybersecurity and risk management, and numerous other vital facets of the educational ecosystem, we help each other advance. We believe technology can have a profound impact for institutions, enhancing accessibility, improving the student experience, and ultimately helping transform the educational landscape. Central to our vision is the belief in community-inspired impact. Through an array of programs, resources, policy advocacy, and—most importantly—opportunities to connect, we illuminate critical topics, offer insights, compile best practices, create useful toolkits, and shed light on the potential influence of emerging trends and technologies. Our Membership EDUCAUSE is made up of more than 2,100 member organizations, including higher education institutions, companies that serve the higher education technology market, and other related associations and organizations from around the world. If you are part of a member organization, you and everyone at your institution, corporation, or association can turn to us for training and professional development, the latest information on higher education and technology trends, tools and resources that help you make informed decisions and take action on your initiatives, and more. EDUCAUSE encourages international organizations to become EDUCAUSE members because they provide the community with valuable perspectives on technology solutions and strategies at work in their contexts.
