Description
The Edward T. Rogowsky Internship Program in Government and Public Affairs serves CUNY students seeking to build their professional network and develop workforce skills within New York’s public sector. **About** The Edward T. Rogowsky Internship Program in Government and Public Affairs works to bridge the gap between academic study and civic engagement both in and out of the classroom. Students work with faculty in the classroom to learn the underpinnings of government and public policy and serve with elected officials, and other government practitioners, to understand how theory becomes practice. The program’s unique learning experience provides students placed in the offices of city, state and federal legislators and in government agencies the skillsets necessary to work in government and excel in careers tied to public service.. Interns share the same takeaway from their high-impact experience: “I can make a difference!”
