Description
**A strengthened cultural heritage-driven movement for Europe** Through a set of relevant activities, the European Heritage Hub will gather top expertise and pool resources to establish the largest-ever cultural heritage-driven movement in Europe, fostering synergies and cooperation between existing heritage actors and initiatives and promoting new ones when relevant. The Hub intends to connect and to actively engage the extended networks of all partners through innovative tools and creative awareness-raising campaigns, and ultimately reach out to citizens and local communities. The key contribution of the Hub is to co-create a more sustainable, innovative and inclusive future for the heritage ecosystem and place cultural heritage at the very heart of the European project. **Objectives** - **Stimulate networking, cooperation and knowledge-sharing**, bringing together the widest array of public and private heritage stakeholders at local, regional, national, European and international level. Through peer-learning, capacity-building and resource-pooling, the Hub will strengthen resilience and responsiveness towards challenges and foster cooperation capacity across the heritage ecosystem. - **Contribute to the mainstreaming of cultural heritage across key policies**, covering all levels of governance and with a special focus on the green, digital and social transformation. - **Be at the forefront of heritage-policy developments**, monitoring and analysing the implementation of heritage-related policy developments, programmes and funding sources at all levels, and providing evidence-based recommendations for the development of adequate future policies and opportunities. - **Promote inclusive, diverse and participatory governance in the heritage ecosystem**, engaging and reaching out to especially the harder-to-reach audiences who do not participate in cultural heritage-related activities, with a special focus on young people and under-represented groups. - **Raise awareness of the European dimension of our shared cultural heritage, history and memory**, demonstrating the multiple values of cultural heritage for our economy, society and the environment among policy-makers, practitioners and citizens at large. - **Enhance the role of cultural heritage for peace building, reconciliation, intercultural and interreligious dialogue** as well as for the promotion of key European values, such as democracy, the rule of law and respect for human rights.
