About Us Fairfield County’s Community Foundation works closely with local organizations, nonprofits, businesses, government, and philanthropists to address challenges and identify opportunities to create a stronger, more vibrant region. Informed by three decades of partnering with and serving our community, we have awarded more than $420 million in grants to nonprofits in Fairfield County and beyond. OUR MISSION We partner with our community to create a county where every person has an equitable opportunity to thrive. OUR VALUES Our work is guided by six core values of equity, inclusivity, collaboration, humility, respect, and courage. OUR WORK We work to advance equity in Fairfield County by focusing on the key areas of youth education and career development, income and asset building, women and girls’ health equity, and housing opportunity. We also foster civic engagement, support local nonprofits, and bring people together to learn and innovate.
