Description
ASCENT is a cooperative aviation research organization co-led by Washington State University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and supported by the FAA, NASA, the Department of Defense, and Transport Canada. We conduct research to inform our sponsors on current and emerging technologies and operations for the aviation industry. A coalition of 16 leading U.S. research universities and advised by over 60 private sector stakeholders committed to the safety and future of aviation, ASCENT also works in partnership with international research programs and national laboratories to create an all-inclusive research capability.
