- If you want to be more aware of your gambling and how to gamble more safely, we can provide education, resources and tips.
- If you’re a health provider, community worker or work in industries where people gamble, we have information and tools to help prevent and address gambling harm.
- If you want to set up an education program in your community to prevent gambling-related harm, you can talk to us about opportunities and resources.
GambleAware is a NSW Government initiative
GambleAware is the public facing identity for the work of the Office of Responsible Gambling. It ties together the complete spectrum of work undertaken by the Office, from prevention and education, right through to self-help and the information and support provided by the GambleAware counselling providers we fund.
The Office of Responsible Gambling sits within the NSW Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport and leads the development of responsible gambling strategy and public policy advice to the NSW Government.
The Office is governed by the Responsible Gambling Fund (RGF), which is administered by Trustees who, as expert advisors, assist the Minister of Hospitality and Racing make decisions about the appropriate allocation of funds and gambling policy matters.
This chart shows how the Office and RGF work with the regulator Liquor & Gaming NSW, as well as GambleAware Providers who deliver direct services to the community.
