Glaser Progress Foundation

The advent of the 21st Century creates a unique opportunity to rethink what Progress means and how we ought to measure it. When future generations look back on us, what gauges will they use to decide whether we made genuine Progress? Based on the interests of its founder and managing board, the Foundation has chosen to create strategic initiatives in four program areas: how we measure progress; how we address global health & climate change; how we ensure diversity of voices in our media; and how we treat animals. The Foundation was created, endowed and is led by Rob Glaser, Founder and Chairman of the Board of RealNetworks. Since its creation in 1993, the Glaser Progress Foundation has distributed over 35 million dollars for philanthropic purposes. The Foundation is located in Seattle and staffed by Executive Director Martin Collier and Operations Manager Melessa Rogers.
