Before moving to Midland, Hahl Proctor studied voice in a Chicago school of music. Although very active in the ranching industry, she continued to pursue her music interests through her church and other civic organizations. She was an attractive, popular, generous woman who loved to entertain. This trust was established under her will to provide a continuous source of financial assistance to worthwhile charities.
