Description
The Health Readiness Contracting Office executes responsive and effective strategic contracting support of supplies and services to the U.S. Army Medical Command and the Defense Health Agency in order to provide medical readiness to military service members and their families worldwide. Contracting Branches and Cells are located at Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
**Office Organization:** Health Readiness Branch (HRB), Army Services Branch (ASB), Joint Services Branch (JSB)
- The HRB is a hybrid branch of business operations and contract execution. HRB provides direct support MEDCOM Medical Education Program through ESAs/MTAs and to the OTSG. The HRB also is the HRCO focal point for internal Policy Review, taskers, personnel training, & GPC support.
- The ASB serves as the strategic contract execution branch for key Army Enterprise Contracts such as RMW, Medical Maintenance, Holistic Health and Fitness, and Reference Laboratory.
- The JSB serves as the Center for Hospital Environmental Cleaning Services as well as a host of other joint initiatives CONUS and OCONUS.
