Working side-by-side with neighbors, partners, donors, volunteers, and community leaders, we address local needs with innovative solutions. **HOW IS HEART OF INDIANA UNITED WAY CONNECTED TO THE WORLDWIDE UNITED WAY ORGANIZATION?** We are an independent and self-governed 501(C)3 and a member of the United Way Worldwide network. We meet annual membership requirements and receive support from the worldwide network in the form of training, national advertising, public policy and the ability to draw on the “best practices” of United Ways throughout the world. **WHAT AREAS DOES HEART OF INDIANA UNITED WAY SERVE?** We serve five counties in Indiana including Delaware, Fayette, Henry, Madison, and Randolph counties.
