Engineering Technology is all about using and understanding the equipment and concepts to implement engineering designs—the machines, computers and code that bridge the gap between ideas and reality. Engineering technologists work with robotics, computerized machine tools and welding. They also use plasma cutters and lasers. ET encompasses tons of areas within engineering, like networking, databases, project management, quality and processes. Want to work within manufacturing, distribution and logistics? Then engineering technology may be your field. Engineering Technologists are the doers of the engineering world. They like to roll up their sleeves and get in the thick of it. They work with engineers and scientists to produce new technology. There is really no limit to what you can do at Herff!
