Empowering Donors, Inspiring Growth for nearly 50 Years
As the community foundation of Bartholomew County, Heritage Fund connects donors with causes they care about and serves as a catalyst for positive change in our community. Since our establishment in 1976, we have continued building our strong legacy of giving.
Our History
A Strong Heritage
The concept of a community foundation for Bartholomew County became reality in 1976 with the purpose of continuing a legacy of giving by providing an opportunity for all citizens to make gifts of all sizes and establish charitable funds to benefit the local community.
Heritage Fund was formed in 1976 as a community foundation with the purpose of creating a legacy of giving by providing an opportunity for all citizens to make gifts and establish charitable funds to benefit the local community. Nearly 50 years later, we continue our proud heritage of generous community giving and embrace our mission to inspire generosity; gather and grow community leaders; and to act to ensure that Bartholomew County is an exceptional place for all to live, learn, work and play.
