A Message from Senior Associate Chancellor for Human Resources, Shari Mickey-Boggs *Welcome to the Illinois Human Resources (IHR) Website. It is my privilege to serve as the Senior Associate Chancellor for Human Resources at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I joined the Illinois Human Resources team in 2022.* *I have extensive* *experience within higher education, having served at four universities in both private and public sectors. My professional career has been devoted to leading transformational change with knowledge and experience in consulting and strategy, talent management, employee and labor relations, compensation, benefits, training and organizational development, HR operations and compliance. However, I’m always learning. I have recently become a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation, and I am taking courses in the Education Policy, Organization Leadership (EPOL) Program.* **Our institution is #12 among public institutions, has 29 Pulitzer Prize winners, has athletic teams that have won 248 Big Ten titles, and over 12,000 dedicated faculty and staff. We are in an exciting initiative titled Operational Excellence partnering with Huron Consulting for a new HR service delivery model.** **Please explore the new organizational structure for IHR. We will be nimble in the structure as we finalize our campus-wide HR service delivery model in the next couple of years.
