Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium

The Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium (ISPIC), now hosted by The Chicago School, offers doctoral internships across the state of Illinois. Partnering sites offer varying experiences and training opportunities in school districts, hospitals, residential treatment programs, and clinics in rural, suburban, and urban settings. ISPIC seeks to prepare interns to be dually credentialed as both licensed clinical psychologists and credentialed school psychologists. As such, our training curriculum considers both the American Psychological Association’s Profession-Wide Competencies and the National Association of School Psychologist’s Practice Model’s Domains. All internships include at least two days/week in schools, and some offer training in other psychological settings as well. Interns have opportunities to engage in the broad range of clinical psychological and school psychological responsibilities.
