We contribute to Ontario’s economy and boost Ontario’s reputation as a top destination by:
- working with the tourism industry and regional tourism organizations to increase tourism visitation and attract international investment to the province
- investing in festivals and events across Ontario
- fueling the creative economy, including film, television and music
- promoting engagement in culture through the arts and museums
- providing funding and support to public libraries
- guiding the development of commercial gaming policy to enhance experience and protect the players
- supporting provincial agencies and attractions to enhance their contributions to Ontario’s social well-being
