The Janson Foundation was established in 1983 to provide capital grants to deserving charitable organizations located in Skagit County, Washington.
Edward W. Janson had a longtime career as a public servant in Skagit County and was committed to the citizens of the county. He established his Foundation to assist the ongoing capital needs of deserving charitable organizations. Mr. Janson was particularly interested in supporting the capital needs of Christian organizations/missions and programs that benefit youth.
