**About** ****We are the Junior League of San Francisco!**** Above all else, our goal is to promote and perpetuate social change in the San Francisco communities that will benefit most from it. By empowering women and providing valuable leadership training, we are giving local women the tools to get involved, put their talents to work, and positively impact the communities of San Francisco. ****Strength in Numbers**** As one of hundreds of Junior League chapters across the world, we are a member of the [Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI)](https://www.ajli.org/). Established in 1911, the Junior League of San Francisco plays an integral part in the development, improvement, and support of the communities of San Francisco. **Mission** The Junior League of San Francisco is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. **Focus Area** Since 2023, the JLSF has focused on *bridging the gap of Essential Needs in the San Francisco community*. Essential Needs encompasses a number of issues, but we target our work within three pillars: Housing, Food, and Basic Personal Necessities.
