Legacy Foundation of Tompkins County

**WHO WE ARE** Our Commitment to Tompkins County The Legacy Foundation of Tompkins County (formerly known as the Tompkins County Foundation), is a private foundation committed to improving the quality of life in Tompkins County by supporting non-profit organizations through semi-annual grant awards. Funding for grants comes from our endowment that continues to grow from careful oversight by our board, and from donations and planned gifts from our generous community. The Foundation funds programs, projects, and capital expenditures within our 6 areas of interest: Health, Education, Recreation, Human and Social Services, Aging, and the Arts. The board is also interested in new and innovative programming and will consider seed funding for new projects.
