**About us** The LMS is a biomedical discovery research institute of world-leading excellence, embedded within the Imperial College London Hammersmith Hospital Campus and adjacent to the White City Innovation District, providing a clinical-translational, multidisciplinary and entrepreneurial research environment of outstanding excellence. The institute was founded by the Medical Research Council over 20 years ago and now attracts the very highest calibre of scientists, postdoctoral researchers and students from around the world.
