**Welcome to the School of Nursing**
Nursing is a challenging professional program and requires rigorous education. MTSU’s School of Nursing offers degrees in nursing at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The undergraduate program began in 1966, the graduate program began in 2005.
- Our graduates have a **near 96% pass rate** on the RN licensure exam on the first try.
- Approximately **90%** of our advanced practice nursing graduates successfully pass the nurse practitioner certification exam on the first try.
- Our nursing graduates are in high demand. Health care facilities in Middle Tennessee (Vanderbilt, Ascension St. Thomas, and HCA) employ **80%** of our graduates.
