University College We are about student success. The mission of MTSU’s University College is simple; everything we do is designed to enhance our students’ success — academically and beyond. We serve working adults, parents, veterans and active military, as well as traditional college students. Our average student is a little older than most college students and has responsibilities outside of the college environment. University College offers a variety of programs and services that enable students to gain the most from their college experience. MTSU is one of only a few public universities in Tennessee to be awarded the Adult Learning Focused Institution designation based on their commitment to provide programs and services customized for the adult student.
