**MUREP**
NASA’s Minority University Research and Education Project strengthens research, academic, and technological capacities at Minority Serving Institutions by making strategic investments that build institutional capacity and engage students, as authorized by Congress.
**About MUREP**
NASA’s Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) is administered through the Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM). MUREP strengthens research, academic, and technological capacities at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) by making strategic investments that build institutional capacity and engage students. MUREP investments are authorized via the 2022 CHIPS & Science Act (Public Law. No. 117-167) and the March 2024 Appropriation Bill (Public Law No: 118-42).
