OBJECTIVES: The NLN will:
- Drive initiatives to build inclusive excellence in the nurse educator workforce and the environments in which they work.
- Promote the preparation of a diverse nurse workforce that contributes to health care quality and safety.
- Advance excellence, innovation, and integrity in nursing education across all types of nursing programs for diverse learner populations.
- Cultivate a global community of nurse educators to identify and influence issues related to excellence in nursing education.

- Lead a diverse, sustainable, member-focused organization that engages, empowers, and is responsive to nurse educators across the career continuum.
OBJECTIVES: The NLN will:
- Advance sustainable growth through integration of a mission-aligned business model to serve our members as an industry-leading organization.
- Establish a prominent role in the educational and professional development of its members by shifting to a highly personalized dynamic experience.
- Offer innovative products and services tailored to the unique needs of learners, faculty, and administrators.
- Strengthen the value of membership through an integrated offerings portfolio for nursing education and the community at-large.
- The Champion for Nurse Educators
- Be the voice of nurse educators and champion their interests and partnerships in political, academic, and professional arenas.
OBJECTIVES: The NLN will:
- Expand opportunities for the professional advancement of nurse educators.
- Advocate for equity and recognition in the advanced practice role of nurse educators.
- Shape and inform public policy on nursing education at all levels and serve as a valued source of data for legislation, regulations, or decisions about nursing education and the nurse educator workforce.
- Cultivate, expand and sustain alliances with interprofessional and influential organizations.
- Advancement of the Science of Nursing Education
- Promote research that generates evidence about nursing education and the scholarship of teaching.
OBJECTIVES: The NLN will
- Promote the continuous development of faculty as educator-scholars.
- Advocate for and channel resources to support nursing education research.
- Transform nursing education through the development, design and advancement of research initiatives.
- Advance the health of the nation and global community through nursing education science.
