We balance cultural and economic objectives to achieve successful outcomes for our industry and our people. **What does the Film Commission do?** - We are a government agency that invests in New Zealand feature films and short films. - We aim to contribute production financing to between ten and 12 feature films each year. - We help talented practitioners develop their careers. - We promote New Zealand films domestically and internationally. - We market New Zealand's screen production industry overseas and attract international productions to New Zealand. - We administer the New Zealand Screen Production Rebate and other grants and approve official co-productions
