North Central Area Agency on Aging

Our Mission North Central Area Agency on Aging, Inc’s. (NCAAA) mission is to provide aging resources to help enhance the quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers in North Central Connecticut by ensuring that they have access to quality and cost-effective services. For 40 years and counting, NCAAA has provided financial assistance to agencies serving older residents of North Central Connecticut as well as respite care services, long term care services, and aging resources directly to consumers. NCAAA provides aging resources to 20,000 – 35,000 clients annually, and we are recognized as an agency that delivers strong programs with limited resources and that effectively partners with others in the Aging Network. As a designated Area Agency on Aging, according to the Older Americans Act of 1965, NCAAA is a funding source for federal and state dollars for the elderly in the 38 town region of North Central Connecticut.
