**About WSI** **Message from the Director** At North Dakota Workforce Safety & Insurance (WSI), our mission is caring for injured workers - helping them heal and return to meaningful work. As the sole provider and administrator of the workers’ compensation system in North Dakota, we take that responsibility seriously. We believe every worker deserves to leave for work in the morning and return home safe at the end of the day. Through education, training, safety grants, and collaboration with employers, we’re working to prevent injuries before they happen. Our vision is a safe, secure, and healthy North Dakota workforce. That means providing excellent service to injured workers when accidents occur, but also supporting employers in creating safe work environments. We do this with a team grounded in servant leadership and guided by our values: loyal, caring, and forthright. Those words aren’t just on paper - they shape how we show up for one another and for the people we serve. North Dakota’s economy depends on a strong workforce.
