**Strategy** Health and medical research is vital to delivering better treatments and interventions to improve health outcomes. **NSW Health Research and Innovation Strategy** In May 2025 the Hon. David Harris MP, Minister for Medical Research launched the *NSW Health Research and Innovation Strategy 2025-2030* which provides direction for health research and innovation across NSW. Research and innovation are key to achieving improved health outcomes for the people of NSW. The five-year Strategy will enable greater collaboration between the NSW Government, health, academic, and industry sectors. It provides an essential roadmap to help us achieve a brighter future, spanning positive economic, social and environmental impacts. The vision sets the direction for the desired future state of the health research and innovation ecosystem in NSW for the next 10 years.
