Research With your support, we are funding the next generation of discoveries. PanCAN has invested more than $200 million in research – funding investigators who have built the field and launching PanCAN’s own innovative research initiatives. Learn more. Advocacy We work with thousands of grassroots advocates across the country to urge Congress to increase federal research funding for pancreatic cancer –?and we get results. Our advocacy has helped to boost the National Cancer Institute’s annual funding for pancreatic cancer by more than 12-fold since 1999 and we continue to fight to protect and increase federal funding for pancreatic cancer research. Community PanCAN brings together experts in healthcare, pharma and government through its Research Advisory Collaborative and mobilizes a nationwide grassroots volunteer network who are single-minded in their pursuit of progress. Our PanCAN PurpleStride community raised more than $17 million this past year to fund our critical research and programs and services for patients.
