Financials With a focus on ensuring quality health care is available close to home, Peace Arch Hospital Foundation has been raising funds and awareness to enhance the health and wellness of our community since 1988. Our Board of Directors measures success by the community impact and financial efficiency with which we invest the funds entrusted to us by our generous donors. Peace Arch Hospital Peace Arch Hospital is a true community hospital, having been built entirely on land that was either donated or purchased by the community. It opened its doors in August, 1954 with just 50 beds, five doctors and 10 nurses. Today, Peace Arch Hospital is one of 12 acute-care hospitals located within the Fraser Health Authority.
