The Pittsburgh Conference is a non-profit organization dedicated to science education and outreach. Pittcon is coordinated by a small staff of 12 employees and volunteers from the chemistry and spectroscopy industry. Members of the The Pittsburgh Conference are selected from the memberships of the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP) and the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP).
