**About us** We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders, with a vision for sport to be at the heart of an active, healthy and connected Queensland. Our purpose is to inspire all Queenslanders to lead active lives in healthy communities and to support the success of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We work every day to make our vision a reality by supporting the state’s sports industry from the elite to the grassroots, through funding, infrastructure and planning, partnerships, events, disaster assistance, capability development, policy and a regional network of engagement officers. We also operate the state’s four sport and recreation venues in Townsville, Sunshine Coast and on the Gold Coast (Runaway Bay and Tallebudgera). As a Games delivery partner and the coordinating body for Queensland Government, we’re focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and delivering enduring legacies for communities across the state.
