Resources Victoria facilitates and regulates responsible exploration, mining, quarrying and rehabilitation across the state. We make sure Victoria has the raw materials to power homes, grow industries and build major projects. From energy minerals to stone and sand, we support the resources that keep our state and economy moving. Resources Victoria is the state's lead agency for earth resources and is part of the [Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.](https://www.deeca.vic.gov.au) Our vision is to unlock the full potential of Victoria's earth resources in a way that benefits all Victorians. Our *Towards 2030 Resources Victoria Strategy* sets a long?term vision for unlocking Victoria's earth resources and guiding sustainable growth across the sector.
