**Welcome to the Chaney Family Foundation** **Our Mission: To benefit the welfare of children and families and to support public safety.** **Our Vision** **• Children and families receive the help they need to overcome abuse, addiction, and poverty so they can have a brighter future •** **• Public safety personnel have the skills and equipment needed to protect and save lives •** **• Families are provided a solid foundation through faith-based programs •** **History** **Bob and Frances wanted to be good stewards of the gifts they have received from God so in 2006 they formed the Robert & Frances Chaney Family Foundation as a way to help others.** Bob cared deeply about children and families, with a special concern for public safety personnel, their families, and the many wonderful organizations they represent, including fire and police departments. The geographic areas were chosen because the family resided in Southern Oregon and Barry County, Missouri, and Robert's hometown was in Cabell County, West Virginia. Upon Bob's passing in October 2006, Frances Chaney took over the role of President with the determination to carry out the Foundation’s vision.
