Mowing & Maintenance
Our Parks team take pride in keeping our parks neat and tidy, and maintain these areas regularly. Maintenance includes slashing, mowing, whipper snipping, tree trimming, mulching and more.
Trees and Streetscapes
Our urban trees and streetscapes are valuable community assets that deliver a range of social, environmental and economic benefits for our community. Council is responsible for tree planting, streetscaping and maintenance within Council controlled public spaces including parks, open spaces, reserves and street trees on urban footpaths.
Vector Management
The Vector Management Unit monitors and controls mosquitoes, rats and mice, biting midges (sandflies) and flies .
Waste and Recycling
Rockhampton Regional Waste and Recycling (RRWR) is a commercial business unit of Rockhampton Regional Council and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of waste management facilities and kerbside wheelie bin collection services throughout the Rockhampton Region. Following Council's Resource Recovery Strategy the Rockhampton Region will become a “zero-waste” community.
