Welcome to the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering! Welcome! First of all, we have dedicated faculty with excellent and diverse backgrounds engaging in teaching, research, and services. Our faculty mentorships to undergraduate and graduate students directly impacts the growth and success of our students. We strive to collaborate to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in our students. Through our programs in B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, B.S. in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, we nurture the next generation of engineers who will not only meet industry demands but also redefine the boundaries of what is possible. We also offer a cooperative Ph.D. program for those who are seeking teaching, advanced R&D opportunities. We welcome our students to a vibrant academic journey in our programs. We have state-of-art equipment and facilities. The fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics and robotics engineering are always undergoing fast-paced innovations. We teach not only the traditional curriculum but also innovative ideas in design, materials, control, robotics, renewable energy that will combine with cutting-edge technologies to create solutions. Through co-op and internships opportunities, our students will also learn practical knowledge and develop into stronger and more capable engineers.
