The purpose of the Shelby County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Louisville, is to enrich the quality of life for all citizens of Shelby County through a permanent, collective philanthropic resource for the current and future needs of the Shelby County Community. Founded in 1995, the Shelby County Community Foundation’s Partnership Grants Fund has granted more than $2 Million to local nonprofit organizations for services in Shelby County.
